It’s a sunny spring day at the park. A sweet old lady is trying to coax a timid little squirrel over with a peanut. He slowly and cautiously makes his way towards her, all the while in complete awareness of his surroundings. Every muscle in his tiny body is tensed and ready for a hasty retreat just in case. Eventually the little granny gains his trust, and the little creature plucks the peanut from her hand. The little fellow then scampers up the nearest tree with his yummy treasure. Warms the heart doesn’t it?

I ask you…Is there anything sweeter than watching a little old lady in the meat department shopping for a Sunday roast? Pinching, squeezing, tweaking until, Alas!… she finds the perfect cut. I don’t know about you but just the thought of it warms my heart. It just doesn’t get any more Norman Rockwell than that….(sigh)
